This medium sized bowl of Myrtle (California Bay Laurel), is quite rigid and stiff yet remarkably thin at the edge ... a "knife edge" design. It is colorful with three inclusions of closed cell burl showing.  It is a featherweight bowl weighing less than 4 ounces yet very durable and sturdy.  It is suitable either for use in serving foods or as a decorative piece.  12-176
