This small sized bowl of Myrtle (California Bay Laurel),is the "child" of the medium sized bowl above. it was sculpted from the inner section of bowl 12-176. Like its parent is quite rigid and stiff yet thin at the edge ... It has a single closed cell burl showing and a small streak of pink. It is a featherweight bowl weighing only slightly more than 1 ounce. yet very durable and sturdy. It is suitable either for use in serving foods or as a decorative piece. 12-177
